Alpha Cat Boogie

Based in central Florida, the Alpha Cat Boogie musicians collective was a nexus of underground artists spanning electronic to folk. We did not have a standard musical agenda. Our style was eclectic and rooted in experimentation. Unfortunately, the collective has since been torn asunder. The remains of Alpha Cat Boogie are found here.

Bobby has been known to break a few chairs. All the more reason we alpha cats are excited to bring out his first album as the newest addition to our artist roster. Crafted during a time of intense personal scrutiny, here we have the finest tracks produced by Bobby, of which there were many. You can expect to be rocked by the ultra-tectonic vibrations of Manfire glory, visits to happy places and trippy cafeteria halls shaken by divine beats. Need we say more? Check it or thou shalt certainly...

At times, nothing is better than an LP that scrapes your subjective being from the frying pan of modern sub-standard derivatives. Something so alien that it becomes familiar. With "New Age Hustler", mister Fitzpatrick delivers his second release with us this year, bringing about a form and function more exceptional and palpable than any previous works. Electronic music will never die with artists like Phluidbox around. Made between and copyright 2002 - 2004. musicians: Joseph...

Made on two week-long visits to Orlando, this album is a true reflection of the the ass-gritty fucked funk spontanious odysseys experienced during these sojourns. Each song is a gem of conciousness destined to break you free from shackles if you listen close enough.

In the early days of alpha Cat boogie, indeed when we barely knew how to identify ourselves as a group of artists, there existed a sort of drifting mutual philosophy. With Manifest Destiny, Ted Kefton summated such esoterics into a series of soulful, crunchy, beat-laden extropic tracks. The likes of which you will find bear a kindred spirit with wacky space/cave men, distant emotions, and ominous unseen forces. With Buzz as the centerpiece for composition, tracker fans should definitely take...

An album of ancient oscillations, experimental noise collage and both chill and excited rhythms make for the first entry by Joe Fitzpatrick to the 'alpha cat boogie' collective. This release is the sort of stuff most labels are afraid to pick up, and that is exactly why aCb felt it should be released. Just because it doesnt prescribe to the latest trendy IDM geometry of the moment does not mean that phluidbox's spiritually deep concoctions should be hidden. In fact, it gives more reason for us...

We know it has been extremely delayed, but here you will find the very first 'members Of us' release for aCb. You can expect to hear a variety of creepily cascading tunes and bouncy mind-expanding rhythms. Mosar's Greatest Hits v.22 starts off with shadowy ontological and abstract imagery (deconstruction of the monkey, aerosol), moving into danceable territory (the cereal song, inflatable douche), and ending with a disturbing and gritty analog jam (do not cross). By the end, the cd leaves one...
